“I never knew that, Miss Galinda. Can you repeat that again so that I could write that down?”

“So.” He says now, scooting in between Galinda and Katherine, “did you two come here with anyone? Are you from the area? Or do you need me to show you around?”

“Oh, no, it’s just us,” Galinda says, giggling as she twirls her hair and glances up at the guy, though she’s still nervous.

“Exactly! And I prefer it that way!” Katherine says, suggestively.
